She Who Hears the Cries of the World is an emanation of light and grace from the heart of the world itself. She is both the known and unknown to you. She is both mystery and mercy without any hesitation or confusion. She is infinite in her presence and particular in her response. In one gesture she frees fear and embodies union as she streams through space, gentle, fearless and endless.
She Who Hears the Cries of the World—also known as Guan Yin - the goddess of compassion—is both the beginning and the end of the journey of spiritual mentorship. She is the inspiration and the beauty of being called to make the journey. And she is the culmination of your cultivation as you open more and more to a way of love in your life, discovering and ultimately emanating your true nature, the untarnished, undying source of all love.
She-Who-Hears-the-Cries-of-the-World and A Way of Love
A way of love is all about union. In union, you find no resistance to things as they are. You feel the presence of a wisdom deep and ancient even as you reckon with the limitations of your human form in this lifetime. In intimate connection with the flow of your own vitality, energy and awareness, you are invited to imagine yourself as She Who Hears the Cries of the World, embodying compassion and mercy in the form of the goddess herself. As the goddess, your own ideas of who you are and who you may become fall away. She cannot help but respond to all who ask for her support. You too, hear the cries of the world and you, too, wish to respond.
What stops you from responding fully, compassionately and freely to the cries that you hear?
Often what stops you is your idea of yourself, your idea of your limitations, your prejudice, bias or need that confuses or constrains your ability to act accurately. As you imagine yourself as the Lady of compassion, you begin to disintegrate, dissolve and deconstruct the obstacles to full expression of your wish to be of service in the world. You can begin to let go of the conditioning that has held you captive. This practice is an unparalleled method that lays to rest the created self, a self created in service to the material world, while enlivening and inviting you into the world of your true nature.

Spiritual Mentorship:
Cultivating presence and possibility.
Spiritual mentoring is a year beginning whenever you are ready. The year includes a retreat centered around She-Who-Hears-the-Cries-of-the-World and A Way of Love as well as individual mentoring sessions and group mentoring sessions. There is a set fee for the year but no set requirement for how many sessions you decide to use or in what format. You can use your individual sessions for a day of individual retreat together or you can meet with me monthly or weekly for any period of time that suits you.
Curriculum for the individual sessions will be tailored to you by me based on your interest and your experience. Group mentoring sessions will feature questions at all levels of experience, with lively discussion and sharing by those present. During group retreat, we will practice altogether creating community and camaraderie for everyone while meeting each level of practice with refinement and exploration.

You may choose a retreat as a way to begin your mentorship or you may choose to engage in individual sessions with your unique curriculum before attending retreat. Any and all variations are possible. If you wish to choose retreat to begin, you may pay for the retreat without commitment to further mentorship. The way is open and will unfold as you desire.
Fees are payable in by arrangement, with monthly, quarterly and yearly options available. Once your registration is confirmed, instructions for payment will be sent by email. Lodging and travel for retreat are not included. Location for retreat to be determined. All individual and group sessions will be conducted online. Retreat is only offered for live in-person attendance. If you feel inspired to join and cost is an obstacle, please know that it is your desire to join that matters most! I invite you to be in touch directly with me if this is the case. Payment plans and limited scholarship funds may be available.
*She-Who-Hears-the-Cries-of-the-World and A Way of Love is offered in one to 5-day retreats 1-3 times a year. Retreat groups will be composed of both ongoing mentees and new practitioners. $108 is a suggested offering for each day of retreat.
Divination:
Bringing Presence to the Essence
How can you bring your presence to the moment? How can you know what this moment has to tell you? Bringing your essence to the present moment means finding the place where your essential inquiries meet the world, where you, as you know yourself, are unfolding in each moment. Engaging oracles in divination, we use questions. The very act of asking plunges you into a world of choice and possibility, a world in formation. In a ritual of questioning, you activate your senses and excite your intuition. Like water and sunlight acting on a seed underground, your questions catalyze growth and initiate movement both inside and outside of you.
I invite you to meet with me in a ritual of questioning using the ancient oracles of the I Ching or the Tarot cards. It will be a space where you can explore questions and find ways to support and energize your journey. I can help you to form your questions and explore ways to relate effectively with the responses from the oracles. Often this process brings clarity and a sense of well-being as you connect to the deeper sources of energy and movement in your world. The I Ching, plied with questions, offers subtle directions on the energies in play, bringing insight to your actions and decisions. The Tarot images, resonating with the heart of humanity, deepen your understanding of both your obstacles and your intentions.
Divination sessions include both questions and discussion. To begin your divination session, we’ll talk together to design your personal inquiry so that it suits the moment. For an I Ching session, we will create your reading by me asking you to caste coins for a total of 6 times, reading off the result to render the reading. Please bring 3 coins of the same denomination to your session for this purpose.
For Tarot sessions you may use your own deck or I can use one of mine on your behalf.
Following either kind of divination session you may wish to book a cocoa chat to add ways to engage your reading through meditation, lifestyle, herbs, essential oils or stones.
I offer space for individual sessions once a month on Wednesday afternoons. As well I customarily offer Divination Sessions on what are called the cross-quarter earth holidays. These days mark the mid-point of each season and represent a potent energetic support for your inquiry. I like to work with the energy in divination at any time, but these special days can be especially powerful for this practice. In the wheel of the year these days most often fall on the following dates: February 1/2, May 1, August 2 & October 31/November 1.

About the Oracles:
The I Ching, the world’s oldest known oracle and divination system with records dating from 2,500 years ago, expounds on the movements of life and energy in detail, helping you to understand what the current play of energies in your life may bring you. Unlike fortune-telling focused on the future, when you ask the oracle, you invite insight and inquiry into what is driving you now. Where will you go if you stay on this road, what of a different route? Of course, what is driving you now, will bring you into the future. But instead of your unconscious motives and hidden questions driving you into your own future, you can ride the vehicle of change, using openness and curiosity to power you.
Tarot Cards, arising some 500 years ago as decks of cards, spring from the well of human experience common to any human no matter where on the earth they live. The images of the Tarot display the journey of a life through love, sorrow, pain, creation and dissolution. Using both strong images such as The Empress and The Magician and the four elements of earth, water, fire and air, the cards invite you to see how you engage your world and learn more about the nature of your obstacles. Seeing more of who you are, guiding your awareness more deeply, you are empowered to grow and change with intention and direction.
